This is one of those posts that remind me why I started writing a blog, to discover and try out new things! Before I go into further details I must say, this is a first timer post… I have swatched MAC lippies many times in the past but never got to own one!

During my time visiting home, I came across a new stand at the mall, MAC finally arrived to my city and I had to go in and have a little nosey… not that I needed any motivation to buy stuff but the make up artist in that store are so friendly and patient that it made me really want to leave the place with a few things in a shopping bag.

As this was my first MAC purchase, I thought it made sense to buy a limited edition product (Mariettisha logic at its best). I remembered they had released a new Viva Glam earlier on the year and I was really curious to see how a Miley Cyrus lipstick would look like. As soon as I saw the colour I new I wanted it.

As you can see by the pictures, this lippy has a beautiful, bright pink hue. Very bold but very warm it almost screams summer, sun and an exotic beach. Its formula is not disappointing at all as it is very creamy and super smooth. Now, as a MAC first timer, I have to say I am so impressed with how long lasting the lipsticks are! Now I know why everyone has an obsession with them.

The lovely girls at the counter also helped me to choose a lip liner that would match Miley, the one I got is a Pro Longwear Pencil in the tone Dynamo and it is just as good as the lipstick! Both have amazing pigmentation that lasts hours but they don´t dry out my lips at all! I do have to say it was a bit hard to remove with just makeup wipes but I guess that is just part of their long lasting formula.

There is something about pink and red lipstick that makes me feel amazing and this lipstick ads a little glam to that feeling!

Sun, colourful buildings and a lot of fun. I am day dreaming right now hoping I can visit home soon. This little photo diary has pictures from one of the oldest cities in Mexico, Guanajuato. Even though we spend two days there, we got to embrace its story and culture.

I have visited Guanajuato many times in the past but this one was a wonderful experience  as I got to rediscover everything again with Shane, been his first time in the city.

Im letting the pictures speak for themselves in this post but if you are interested in seeing more of my traveling adventures, stay tuned for the first part of my travel vlogs (Mexvlogs), out tomorrow!

I would love to hear what you have to say to your young self, leave a comment with your advice!

Thankfully I did not have to wait long to wear it as I took it with me to Mexico... the perfect place with the perfect weather to wear a lovely tea dress with bright florals!

After writing a little post about my favourite spot to eat in town, I really wanted to talk about the place I love spending afternoons.

Caffe Nero is not just the place I love to go for a simple coffee break, whilst I write this, I am realising I use any excuse to go there. From meetings, to a lovely catch up with my friend Christina or a quick break whilst running errands around the town. This place has the perfect vibe to sip a good cup of fresh coffee!

A couple of years ago, I wouldn´t have been so much obsessed about coffee but whilst working in a cafĂ© back home, I developed a love for it. When I came to Derry (the place in which I currently live), I found myself in a coffee snob situation... no place had strong, creamy coffee until Nero came to town.

I do have to say the place is crowded everyday, but the big space with earthy interiors have some kind of magic that make me forget about the world to just sit and relax having a delicious latte or focus on a meeting.

There is no great place without an equally great staff and I cannot exclude the staff of my local Caffe Nero from this post, they are all lovely and amazing behind the bar! Now I wish I would have written this whilst enjoying a panettone with a chai latte...

Before I share my thoughts on this product I must confess, I am fairly new to the eyebrow game. I have always plucked them and kept them in their place but I feel like I underestimated what a nice pair of shaped brows can do to my face. Since last year I started feeling like I had to do something more, just a little extra attention... I guess it was my curious mind and far to many hours reading beauty blogs.

My eyebrows are naturally dark and I am happy to have not too thick but not to thin brows but I wanted to have fuller brows. So far, Etude House Drawing Brow has done a great job to fill in those tiny gaps. This pencil has an interesting shape, slightly angled with a thin start and a slightly thicker end this attributes make it the ideal pencil to keep my brow game looking natural, fuller and nicely shaped!

At first glimpse it reminded me of a graphite pencil but after using it, I discovered its interesting consistence; creamy enough to swipe gently but slightly powdery to achieve a well defined pigmentation. Combined with its shape, it gives me the freedom to fill in finer areas and add some extra colour on thicker parts of my eyebrows.

As any other good brow pencil, this one comes with a brush attached, making the whole process even easier. After I finish using it, I just apply a small amount of gel to tame them wild brows and I am ready to go!

Since I did my first Korean makeup haul, I have been quite happy with Etude House. Not only the have quality products but also they are not as pricey as I thought and their packaging is super cute! If like me, you live far away from Korea but want to enter the magic world of Korean beauty products, you can check out this online store.

I am so happy to be back in Mexico! I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to visit home, my mom and my friends again whilst enjoying the sunny days and the amazing vibe this city has. Its strange to come here and feel like I am a tourist but I do have to say I love the idea of rediscovering flavours, places and moments.

Also, I love being able to wear whatever I want without risking a wild encounter with the ever-changing weather in Ireland. As soon as I arrived home I wanted to wear all those Spring things I have been coveting to put on whilst wearing a big coat and wellies; floral tea dresses, bare legs, this blazer and sun kissed skin.

I have been taking many pictures/ footage these days and I am hoping to share them with you soon!
